Godly observations and spiritual insight from Akin

Dear Reader

Greetings of Love and Peace in the name of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. As we are now in the last quarter of the Year 2019, l'm sure some of you will agree with me that despite all the ups and downs we might have faced in this year, we have every reason to thank The Lord God Almighty.

1 Thessalonians 5 vs. 18 " In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you."

Psalm 100 vs. 1 - 5, " Make a joyful shout to the LORD, all you lands! Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before His presence with singing, Know that the LORD, He is God; it is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.

Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

For the LORD is good; His mercy is everlasting, And His truth endures to all generations.

I personally can say that every day of my life now, apart from the other portions of the Bible that I read, Psalms 100 and 150 are two Psalms that l read almost every day if not everyday. I read them mainly for appreciation, thanksgiving and praise unto the Lord.

Looking at Psalm 100 above and going through it's content, you probably will agree with me that every single person alive has every reason to be thankful to the Almighty God.

Let me say this is quite an easy thing to do, it's just simply saying thank you to God for all He has done for you. You might say what has he done?

At least you are alive, which is something big because since you are alive, your hopes and aspirations are alive too. You can still with His help achieve your goals and aspirations in life.

No matter how bad you might think your situation is - if you think so, if you look around you properly, you probably will find someone in a worse situation than yourself. I'm saying this without meaning anything bad at all.

I want you to please reflect on all that the Lord has done for you and be thankful to Him. In doing this you are putting God in a place where He can do more for you.

Let somebody Thank the Almighty God.

God bless you.
