REST IN THE LORD PART 2.

Dear Reader,

I bring you greetings of Love and Peace in this festive season. As we are rounding up with the YEAR 2017, I want you to look very positive towards the Year 2018.

Matthew 11 vs. 28 " Come to Me, all you who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest"

These are the comforting words of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. There are various ways to look at the word labour. People might say there is a difference between the words work and labour but I want for the purpose of this article, to look at Labour here to mean hardship, struggling through life to get basic things done or achieved, living a life under the influence of Satan, Not living as a child of God (not born again) or even having a hard master or a suppressive system of governance in charge of one's nation.

So as a result of this situation of Labour, the individual is weighed down by brutality, negative influence, low moral, fear of the present and future, treats from wicked masters and leaders and so on, which leads to the person being heavy laden, burdened, loaded down and seriously disturbed by the situation before them.

Jesus is calling out to every one who believes in Him to come to Him and depend on Him to see them through their difficulties and also to give them REST from all their troubles and sorrows.

This is also a call for all those who haven't given their lives to Jesus yet, to please consider the call to repentance and have Jesus as Lord and Saviour of their lives

Jesus is promising us all who believe in Him to come to Him in times like these, where there is so much uncertainty in the world in all areas of life, to dwell in Him and our REST will be guaranteed.

As we approach the end of this year and looking forward to the new one coming, please endeavour to remain in Jesus so that in all areas of your life you can have HIS REST which we all need.

May you experience the REST that Jesus gives as you come to Him today!!!!!.

WISHING YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A JOYFUL NEW YEA...
GOD IS WITH YOU AS HE HAS PROMISED.
