Bible Verses With The Word HOPE

Dear Reader, Greetings of Love and Peace to you all in the name of Jesus. What l intend to do in the next few articles, is to give you all the Bible verses with the word HOPE. This is necessary so that as you read and meditate on them, hope can arise within you in the name of Jesus.

In the New King James Bible which l use , the word Hope appears 142 times. 74 times in the Old Testament and 68 times in the New Testament, bearing in mind that we have 39 books in the Old testament and 27 in the New.

This clearly shows that through all the ages, those who believed and believe in The Lord God Almighty, must have hope in Him. I will start giving us the verses with the New Testament :

Luke 6 vs. 34 - And if you lend to those from whom you hope to receive back, what credit is that to you? For even sinners lend to sinners to receive as much back.

Acts 2 vs. 26 - Therefore my heart rejoiced, and my tongue was glad; Moreover my flesh also will rest in hope.

Acts 16 vs. 19 - But when her masters saw that their hope of profit was gone, they seized Paul and Silas and dragged them into the marketplace to the authorities.

Acts 17 vs. 27 - So that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us,

Acts 23 vs. 6 - But when Paul perceived that one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, " Men and brethren, I am a Pharisee, the son of a Pharisee, concerning the hope

and resurrection of the dead l am being judged!"

Acts 24 vs.15 - I have hope in God, which they themselves also accept, that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust.

Acts 26 vs. 6 - And now l stand and am judged for the hope of the promise made by God to our fathers.

Acts 26 vs. 7 - To this promise our twelve tribes, earnestly serving God night and day, hope to attain. For this hope's sake, King Agrippa, l am accused by the Jews.

Acts 27 vs. 20 - Now when neither sun nor stars appeared for many days, and no small tempest beat on us, all hope that we would be saved was finally given up.

Acts 28 vs. 20 - For this reason therefore l have called for you, to see you and speak with you, because for the hope of Israel l am with this chain.
