GOD WANTS YOU TO PROSPER IN ALL THINGS
Dear Reader, I bring you Joyful greetings in the name of Our Precious Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Despite what anybody thinks, it's so interesting to be alive in times like these as we patiently await the return of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ and have to continue to do the work of His kingdom.
3 John 1 vs. 2 " Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers".
Very interesting verse of scripture in the Bible that has not been interpreted by what it really means. I'm going to, by God's grace spend sometime as the Lord will permit me to let you know my Dear Reader that if you are born again and a follower of Jesus Christ, my Father in heaven wants you to prosper in all things and He means in all things.
Some have even said we don't need any form of prosperity other than to prosper in the spirit because God is a spirit, some have argued that spiritual prosperity is higher than all other forms of prosperity for the person who is Born Again. If you say to me that, for someone who is Not Born again, he or she needs spiritual prosperity which can be said to mean having Jesus as Lord and Saviour more than anything else l will totally agree but for someone already having Jesus as Lord and Saviour things are a bit different.
You might ask me why?, this is because in your journey on this Earth and as a minister if you are one, you are going to need all forms of prosperity to be fully effective in your call.
Psalm 35 vs. 27 - 28 " Let them shout for joy and be glad, Who favour my righteous cause: And let them say continually, ' Let the LORD be magnified, Who has pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.' And my tongue shall speak of Your righteousness And of Your praise all the day long."
It is a righteous cause for a servant of the LORD to prosper because as a servant of the LORD, he will use this prosperity to foster the work of the kingdom which includes especially the saving of lost souls, which usually cost money to do i.e. Crusade programmes and ministering to the physical needs of new converts.
I believe certain kingdom minded individuals can do more if they had resources available to them and I'm not just talking about money.
