I want to continue in the above article as labelled by showing us some verses in the Bible to back up what l have said about God wanting you and me to prosper in all things.

The truth is that The Almighty God is not glorified in anyway when His Children are poor and cannot provide or meet their needs. Can l also add that I have said, God wants us to prosper in all things not just having money in our pockets alone. Of what use is a lot of money in the bank to a man that is very sick and about to die, if the ailment he has cannot be treated medically and he has no other way of getting healed.

God wants us to prosper in our spirit, soul, body, financially, and all other areas you can think of. God wants our families to be strong and united together in LOVE.

Before we go into the scriptures and look at what God says lets have a simple definition of what it means to prosper.

To prosper simply means - to flourish, to thrive, to succeed in one's endeavours, to be fortunate in life, it can also mean to have Jesus as Lord and Saviour and to be favoured by God and man.

Let's see the following verses of scriptures please.

1. Genesis 24 vs. 40 " But he said to me, ' The LORD, before whom l walk, will send His angel with you and prosper your way, and you shall take a wife for my son from my family and from my father's house'.
2. Genesis 26 vs. 13 " The man began to prosper, and continued to prospering until he became very prosperous, for he had possessions of flocks and possessions of herds and a great number of servants. So the Philistines envied him".
3. Genesis 39 vs. 23 " The keeper of the prison did not look into anything that was under Joseph's authority, because the LORD was with him, and whatever he did, the LORD made it prosper.
4. Deuteronomy 29 vs. 9 "Therefore keep the words of this covenant, and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do".
5. Deuteronomy 30 vs 5 " Then the LORD your God will bring you to the land which your fathers possessed, and you shall possess it. He will prosper you and multiply you more than your fathers".

I will by God's grace give us more Bible verse on this topic when next l write to you. I want to stress that they greatest of all forms of prosperity that a man can have, is to have Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Saviour which will guarantee the individual assess to heaven where the streets are lined with gold.

If you haven't given your life to Jesus, you can please do so now and invite Him into your life by confessing that you are a sinner and you want Him ( Jesus ) who died for the sins of all human beings to wash you in His blood and to forgive you of all your sins and to write your name in the book of eternal life. Also invite Him into your heart to live with you now and forever more. Amen.
