Have Confidence in God

Dear Reader, Greetings of Love and Peace to you in the name of Our resurrected Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

I want to encourage us today that as we are approaching the end of the year 2018, more than ever before you and I need to put our confidence in the Lord. There is the need for us to encourage one another much more so looking at all the challenges facing the world today with all the uncertainties.

Psalm 65 vs. 5 " By awesome deeds in righteousness You will answer us, O God of our salvation, You who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth, And of the far - off seas."

Proverbs 3 vs. 26  " For the Lord will be your confidence, And will keep your foot from being caught."

1 John 5 vs. 14 - 15 " Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him."

Praise the Lord, looking at these scriptures above my heart is lifted up in fullness of joy and my confidence in the Lord is strengthen even the more.

What does the word CONFIDENCE mean?  It simply means full trust, reliability, dependability, and belief as in this case In the Lord God Almighty. In other words we need to have FULL TRUST, RELY, DEPEND and BELIEVE IN THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY ALWAYS.

God is certainly moved to act on our behalf when He knows that, in our hearts we have confidence in Him to help and deliver us in time of need. All through out the Bible, we see God responding to the cries of His people whenever they called upon Him in confidence.

The case of the Children of Israel coming out of Egypt in Exodus Chapter 5 to the end of Chapter 14 is a very good example. As we move towards the end of this year and beyond if Jesus Christ tarries, l want you to begin to develop confidence in the Almighty God if you have not done so.

Pray and believe God in confidence that He will answer you as long as you have asked according to His will as the Bible says. I will continue on this topic next time by God's grace.

I want  to wish you a wonderful Christmas and a joyful and prosperous new year in the name of Jesus.

God bless you real good.!!!!!!!
